To ????

Not true-- I was up there on Wednesday (Feb 1) and was able to use my old entrance to get into Cheney. Also found a second entrance if need be. Someone was definitely on the roof (attic level) which scared the hell out of me, so I got out. There's also an entrance to Ryon Hall, so you must have not looked hard enough.

This talk of demolition is truly depressing-- enjoy it while you can, guys. And don't vandalize the place-- let others have the chance to enjoy the campus. Plus, if people get caught or if vandalism is very obvious, they're going to up security and lock the place down.

the reason gary ins a ghost town

Still to this day I own property in Miller Beach, which is still part of Gary, Indiana, which is its downfall. The city is run by all blacks which don't know anything about running a town. They are all stupid racists. I went in there to pull a permit to actually fix up my property and they told me I couldn't because you have to be a resident to do work in their ghetto. When I told them I own the property to their surprise they gave me a permit but eventually chased me out when I "disturbed the land" without a permit trying to get materials up a hill with a bobcat. I have not been back since, it has been many years, and I am still trying to sell my 2 acres at 333 N Lake Street with no success. Gary lacks leadership and until they rid themselves of the racists black politicians, that city will go nowhere. Miller Beach needs to split from Gary to save their values.

Dorthy Douthit,
I remember 'way" back to 1930 when I was born on the east side. All of the down town sites, I remember very well. In my mind there was not a greater city than "The city of the century" Gary, In

Greystone

My mother worked in this hospital in the 40's as a teenager with my aunt and a close friend. The friend was excused because she fainted when they showed them the electro shock therapy. My mother said you actually stayed at the hospital in dorms and everytime the door was opened at night they'd jump up and ask who it was because they always feared it was one of the patients. She told us some funny stories and some sad ones as well and I wish she was here today to see what this beautiful but sad place has become. Spoke to my aunt today about it and she laughed, she said it was fun, scary and amzing being there.

ALMOST CAUGHT SHOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just went on the 31st,saw some fresh shook tags, like i could still smell the paint fresh which leads me to believe we were close to catching this guy. While traveling upstairs,we heard some people moving so we decided to be very quiet7slow,no lights. Once we say them it was about 6 or 7 kids with lights, spray painting the wall. since we were out numbered we waited for them to leave, looking at the wall quess what i found? an enormous silver "SHOOK" piece of graffiti,we decided to follow them but as we did we noticed the wy they went only had one way donw, and it was blocked...dissapeared it seems,Shook is a ghost!! Still a good night, almost caught the one who has been painting this place for the past 3 years,im not sure if anyone will ever catch "SHOOK" but now im on a mission!! . the new tags were all in the cheney building, anyone see any other new tags in different places?? let me know!! i want to know where he likes to go spray paint
