I could leave comments at every place I checked out but figured this coking plant might use one. Reminds me of the old brick factory on the south shore of Mtl. Used to be owned by Domtar in the 70's and 80's. It was a magical place we used to explore as kids. The old machines, huge and rusted, wondering what they were used for, were all over the place. We had heard about a secret spot located inside the rooftop. After getting precious information on how to get there, we followed the directions by climbing out of a window, crossing outside of the rooftop, climbing back in by the opposite window and walking on a makeshift bridge made of boards (this was about 50 feet in the air!!) and ending up in an ancient control room. The place had old porn magazines everywhere and was obviously used by older teens.

On the way back, a friend had put his foot through the floor and almost went in. Looking down the hole, it was a 20 foot drop into abandonned machines. Sooo foolish! I never went back inside since the danger was so great but I can say that the building is now torn down.

Ahh, memories! Keep up this beautiful work, you are a dedicated fellow indeed!
