Dead Cities

http://www.forbidden-places.net/urban-exploration-verlipack-jumet?cmtx_perm=399#cmtx_perm_399

I too love abandoned places, especially abandoned factories. Once bustling centers of activity, producing goods by the thousands. Now silent, dead, abandoned. I often think of the people back then, as they showed up for work each day. I think of management, what they tried to do, what they may have done wrong. I like to think of the Factory on the last day. Often, I see finished product, or product half-made, sitting. Like everyone just stopped in the middle of working, and left, never to return. Did those people know it was the last day? Often I see rail cars, parked at factories on rail sidings long abandoned. When those freight cars were parked, did they know they were being rolled to the factory for the last time? Never to move again carrying newly made products? I tend to be amazed at big amounts of finished product, simply left. Giant industrial rolls of paper, cartons containing thousands of printed boxes, or like you show at "Verlipak Jumet" big palettes of glass bottles, just abandoned. No one cared enough to even take them with them.
