I was a U.S. soldier in 1979. I was told That The barracks we occupied were the original barracks of an SS garrison. On the complex, which was located in the middle of the City of Berlin, A large enclosed pool was there. I swam in the pool once. it was the largest pool I had ever swan in. Does anyone have any information on this place.
