On the Atlantic Landes coast (southern France), where the price of the square meter peaks, one can find a 10 hectare abandoned area, very close to the sea.
This ancient holiday camp might belong to a French ministry that... might have forgotten it?
More than 200 beds in pretty bungalows, restaurants, bars, playgrounds... Everything abandone since the middle of the nineties. A real godsend for the squatters (cheaper than the camping) and... for an urban explorer!

Fortunately most of the place is in a good state, squatters & taggers are well-educated in this region. But the signs of the time are already there: plaster falling from the roffs, outside woodworks are rotting...
A sunny, pleasant, relaxing urban exploration.
I know many lands and historical places as well but i never saw this pic.it is looking very gud .I would like to spend my vacasons or my Hanimoon at there.I like it very much.

"Main facade", "Spiral Staircase" and "Games lost in the jungle" photos looks, to me, like those from "Shutter" in Japanese/Chinese version of this film.

Al geruime tijd ben ik op zoek naar dergelijke locatie. Sinds kort ben ik bekend met jullie website en al vele keren heeft deze me verbaasd. Met een hart voor karakter van de dingen die hebben geleefd. Versteend, niettemin met een eigen leven
zoals deze lokatie.
Al enkele jaren bieden we kansarme en bijzondre jeugdzorg jongeren op de hoeve die we nu bewonen, de ruimte om zich uit een krisis situatie terug te trekken. Dit doen we met zinolle vrijetijsbesteding, overnachting en met een plaats in ons gezin. De hoeve die we nu bewonen, huisvest niet alleen een grote taverne die we uitbaten, maar is ook in privéhanden. We zoeken daarom een plaats, waar we naast wonen ook verschillende sosciale projecten voor dergelijke jongeren willen aanbieden. We willen ons volledig toespitsen op intense begeleidingen. Het kamp is zo een plaats.
Voor ruimte voor wie er tekort komt. Zonder veel invloeden voor wie er al teveel heeft. Voor warmte voor wie er zoveel tekort komt.
Kort gezegd, een plaats die doet dromen.

Waar ze ligt en of ze op het moment wordt 'bezet'
Ik zou u heel erg dankbaar zijn.

good find... i would like to visit this abandonned camp in the summer... I will travel down to France and pass it on the way... is it possible to give a bit further directions... greetzz from Rotterdam, Holland :-)
