This impressive site is a set of 19 distinct houses, pleasantly separated by courts and gardens. All the façades are neo-Renaissance flamish style.
Incorporated in 1969 to the University of Liège, the veterinary school of Cureghem loses its perd son independence. During Summer 1991, this university leaves the site to settle the heights of Sart-Tilman in Liège, where the lessons are still being taught.
The buildings, dated from early 1900's, are at least been listed as historical monument on the 22nd February 1990. Since this relocation, the site is abandoned. Hopefully, it remains protected from vandals and even urban explorers.
Only ten years later, the reconversion of the site stats: projects of lofts starts in 2005.
Today, project is completed. Invest! Urban exploration is over: located in the heart of Brussels, garden of 500,000m², incredible...

the photos pretty much did horrify me.. whether it's for the sake of science or not, those kinds of things done to animals disturb me greatly. the pictures were definitely amazing, though, in terms of photography.
now i know why you call it THE HORROR LABS ! Before i continue looking at the picture i said " its not really desgusting " but after when i continued i was almost going to "throw up" ( joking ) i meant ...... its really ugly but interresting at the same time. So keep working cause i love this site
